Question: Is the Sasha Wrap or Sasha ABC better for a newborn baby?
Answer: Both the Sasha Wrap and Sasha ABC can comfortably hold a newborn. Moms have found it nice that the Sasha Wrap can be left on all day and you can take your newborn in and out all day without having to re-adjust the Sasha Wrap. The Sasha ABC has to be adjusted each time you place your child in and out of the baby carrier.
Question: Can I breastfeed in either the Sasha Wrap and Sasha ABC?
Answer: Yes you can breastfeed in both baby carriers. In the Sasha Wrap you have the option of nursing with your child in the cradle position or the newborn hold. With the Sasha Wrap you can manipulate the shoulder straps to cover your baby while nursing if you want to be discreet. In the Sasha ABC you can nurse in the tummy to tummy hold. If you have the Sasha ABC with the snap on hood you can attach the hood for a discreet feeding.
Question: What weight can the Sasha Wrap and Sasha ABC hold and which one is better for a big child?
Answer: I have found that a child usually gets too long before they get too heavy. It's really up to the person wearing the Wrap. What weight are you comfortable with? The material will hold up. I can wear my 6 year old in the ABC Wrap still and it's still very comfortable. The Sasha ABC is better for bigger children. The width of the seat holds their legs up in a natural sitting position so their legs wrap around your waist and hips. Most children outgrow the Original Sasha Wrap around two years of age.
Question: What is the pocket on the Sasha Wrap for? What is the cargo pocket on the Sasha ABC for?
Answer: The pocket on the Sasha Wrap and the pocket on the Sasha ABC are both for convenience. You can place items such as cell phones, wallets, sippy cups, snacks, diapers, wipes and anything you want to place in there. The pockets also become it's own carrying case for your baby carrier. Simply turn the pocket inside out and tuck your wrap inside of it. I've also found that once the wrap is tucked inside of itself it makes for a great pillow for your baby. Whether it's in the car seat or when you're changing a diaper.
Question: Why is my child hanging so low in the Sasha Wrap or Sasha ABC?
Answer: The Sasha Wrap or Sasha ABC is not tight enough. In order to pull either wrap up, you need to pull down tight on the shoulder straps. This will keep your child up higher where they should be. Always remember the material will give a bit after the baby is placed inside the baby carrier, so the wrap should be tied a little tighter than you want it so after you child settles in the wrap, it will be just right. Refer to the instructional DVD for a better visual.
Question: How many Cloth Diapers do I need to get started in Cloth Diapering?
Answer: If you will be washing diapers every night you will need around 15 Cloth Diapers. If you plan on washing every other day then double that amount. I don't suggest waiting any longer than two days to wash your Cloth Diapers. Remember that unlike disposable diapers, you know every time your child pees in a cloth diaper. I find that children who wear disposable diapers aren't changed as often because it's not obvious their diaper is wet until they have peed a few times. I change my child every time I know their diaper is wet. With the exception being during the night when we are asleep. I usually change the baby during the night when I'm up for a nighttime feeding. Washing instructions are enclosed with the Sasha Cloth Diaper.
Question: I want a very customized item, how do I go about ordering this?
Answer: I make custom orders every day, whether it be a favorite sports team, cartoon character or any other custom request. Please email us and be very specific about what you are wanting and we can give you a quote.
